El jurado de los premios, integrado por Yannick Rabemanantsoa (Antananarivo), Jean-Félix Bernard (Île-de-France), Rita Rachele Dandavino (Montreal), Luiz Pedretti (Sao Paulo) y Chris Johnson (Sídney), se reunió en Sao Paulo el 5 de abril de 2008 para seleccionar los proyectos ganadores. ¿Quién puede presentarse?
Any member city responsible for the undertaking of an outstanding event, project or experience worthy of global recognition for its contribution to improving qualitiy of life for its city. For more information on the award, visit our website: www.metopolis.org.
Proyectos
El proyecto o experiencia deberá referirse, preferentemente, a asuntos relacionados con el urbanismo, medio ambiente, vivienda, transporte público, seguridad, y desarrollo económico, social y cultural. Sin embargo, otros proyectos de interés público realizados en otros campos también serán considerados.
Categorías de premios
Tres de los proyectos presentados recibirán el Premio Metropolis. La ciudad que reciba el primer premio estarà exenta del pago de la contribución anual de 2011.
También se concederán tres menciones de honor.
Ceremonia Premios Metropolis
La candidatura ganadora recibirá el premio durante el 10º Congreso de Metropolis en Porto Alegre, de manos del Presidente de la Asociación.
El Jurado designado por el Consejo de Administración de Metropolis realizará el proceso de selección de los proyectos ganadores.
